Alhamdulillah! We thank Allah Azza Wajal for the opportunity and ability to bring you my dear sisters beneficial information and programs to help you on your journey with the Qur'an.  The whole purpose of Women of Qur'an Now is to support you and encourage you as you tread the path of beneficial knowledge to get closer to your Maker.

The Qur'an is for you my dear sister. It is a sign of Allah's Mercy upon us and was revealed to guide us, to heal us, to comfort us, to keep us company through the ups and downs of this life. In our Tadabbur (see blog post on what is Tadabbur) class on suratul Yaseen, we learned that the Qur'an is meant for all of us but only those who accept to submit to their Lord will truly benefit from it.

As per the tafsir, 

"It is also a mercy through which one attains faith and wisdom and seeks goodness. This is only for those who believe in it and accept it as truthful, it is a cure and a mercy only for such people. As for the disbeliever who is wronging himself by his disbelief, when he hears the Qur'an, it only makes him further from the truth and increases him in his disbelief.

The problem lies with the disbeliever himself, not with the Qur'an, as Allah says:

Say:"It is for those who believe, a guide and a cure. And as for those who disbelieve, there is heaviness in their ears, and it is blindness for them. They are those who are called from a place far away (so they neither listen nor understand)." (41:44)

May Allah Azza Wajal make us women of Qur'an Now! The Journey starts Now not later. Bismillah!
